Half-Page Scrolling in Vim

Move down half a page with Ctrl-d or up half a page with Ctrl-u. They are great for scanning while keeping context.

Commands you practise

Ctrl-d
Scroll down half a page. It is the perfect way to scan through code quickly while keeping your visual context.
Ctrl-u
Scroll up half a page. It is the perfect way to scan backward through your file while keeping your context intact.

Levels

  1. Down the Hatch (easy): Use Ctrl-d to scroll down and delete the deprecated metrics blocks.
  2. The Yo Yo (medium): Jump down to fix the third section's typo, then back up to bump the header version.
  3. Config Waltz (hard): Dance up and down the YAML config to update the password, API version, mailer driver, and logging destination.

Each level opens a real Neovim session in your browser with a start file and a target file. Edit one into the other in as few keystrokes as you can, then race the vimbot's solution.
