Line Selection in Vim

Enter linewise Visual mode with V to select whole lines at once. It is useful when edits naturally operate on complete lines.

Commands you practise

V
Press V to start selecting entire lines. Move up or down to instantly grab whole lines without worrying about character columns.

Levels

  1. No Waste Paste (easy): Replace the invalid setting with the correct one without losing your yanked text.
  2. Brace for Impact (medium): Delete the entire obsolete conditional block cleanly using braces.
  3. Brace Yourself (hard): Replace the obsolete metadata block with the new release version using block matching.

Each level opens a real Neovim session in your browser with a start file and a target file. Edit one into the other in as few keystrokes as you can, then race the vimbot's solution.
