Paste Text in Vim

Paste after the cursor with p or before it with P. Both use the current register contents.

Commands you practise

p
Paste register contents directly after the cursor. Use uppercase P to paste before the cursor.
P
Paste text before the cursor or above the current line. Use uppercase P to insert the deleted or copied line directly above your cursor.

Levels

  1. Top Banana (easy): Move the misplaced row down to keep the list alphabetical.
  2. Priority Shift (medium): Swap 'medium' and 'high' using word-wise delete and paste.
  3. Piece of Cake (hard): Put the recipe steps in chronological order using line deletes and pastes.

Each level opens a real Neovim session in your browser with a start file and a target file. Edit one into the other in as few keystrokes as you can, then race the vimbot's solution.
