Pattern Search in Vim

Search forward with /{pattern} or backward with ?{pattern}. Vim remembers the pattern so you can repeat it later.

Commands you practise

/{pattern}
Search forward for any text pattern. Press enter to jump instantly to the match, no matter how deep it is hidden in your file.
?{pattern}
Search backward through your file for a specific pattern. It is the perfect way to jump straight to a keyword above you without scrolling.

Levels

  1. Key Finder (easy): Search forward to find the placeholder API key and delete it.
  2. Backwards Debugging (medium): Search backward from the end of the file to remove the Invalid token modifier.
  3. Release Cleanup (hard): Start in the middle of the config, search both ways to clean up deprecated release tags and endpoints.
