Forward Word Jumps in Vim

Jump forward by words with w and by WORDs with W. WORD treats punctuation as part of the chunk.

Commands you practise

w
Jump forward to the start of the next word. While lowercase w stops at punctuation, uppercase W leaps over it to the next space-separated chunk.
W
Jump forward by WORDs. Capital W ignores punctuation, flying over complex URLs, paths, and variables in a single leap where lowercase w would get stuck.

Levels

  1. Jump to the Prize (easy): Jump to the second line and save only that line using :.w!
  2. Dot-Slashed Dot-Coms (medium): Jump past the dotted chain in one go, then save only that line using :.w!
  3. Hop, Skip, and Save (hard): Jump past both dotted chains using a count, then save only that line using :.w!

Each level opens a real Neovim session in your browser with a start file and a target file. Edit one into the other in as few keystrokes as you can, then race the vimbot's solution.
